Solares, May 28 (EFE).- Three nuns from the congregation of the Daughters of Santa María del Corazón de Jesús have marked one of the anecdotes of this 28M in Cantabria by presiding with their habits at the polling station in the town of Ánaz.
It is a community made up of 55 nuns who are in charge of offering training in the Torreánaz concerted school and who in these elections have assumed the responsibility of presidency and vocals of the electoral table.
The gestures of complicity occurred when the rest of the sisters in the congregation went to the polling station this morning to exercise their right to vote.
Ánaz is a town in Medio Cudeyo (Cantabria) with a population of about 150 inhabitants, so it is not surprising that some of the nuns are part of the polling station when elections are called.
