New Delhi (EFE).- Almost 40 insurgents have died at the hands of the Indian security forces after a strong armed deployment in the eastern region of Manipur to avoid clashes between tribal communities, said this Sunday the head of the Government of Manipur, N Biren Singh, the PTI news agency reported.
The deaths were reported at a time of high tension in that Indian region, which on Sunday registered new clashes between armed groups and security forces in various locations.
