Logroño, (EFE).- Consumer prices rose 0.5% last June in La Rioja and increased 5.1% in relation to the same month of 2022; while the rate in the first six months of the year has stood at 2% in the community of La Rioja.
According to data published this Wednesday by the National Institute of Statistics (INE), the consumer price index (CPI) indicates that in La Rioja, last June, it rose more in the leisure and culture group, a 2.8 %; it fell more in those of alcoholic beverages and tobacco and housing and footwear, -0.6%; and it did not vary in educational centers and hotels, cafes and restaurants.
Compared to a year ago, prices fell, especially in the housing group, by -14.7%; and they increased more in food and non-alcoholic beverages, 10.5%.
So far this year, the group where prices grew the most was food and non-alcoholic beverages and communications, 4.7%; and they fell more in housing, -6%.
