Specifically, the citizens of Albacete and Ciudad Real elect 7 deputies in each of the provinces, five for Cuenca and another five for Guadalajara and nine parliamentarians for the province of Toledo.

In an intervention before the media, the Minister of Finance and Public Administration of the Community Board, Juan Alfonso Ruiz Molina, has highlighted the “democratic burden” of the signing of the decree calling for elections this Monday.
In addition, it has stressed that this procedure has been carried out in compliance with the deadlines established in the Statute of Autonomy and in the Electoral Law of Castilla-La Mancha.
In this way, the elections for Sunday May 28 are officially called and it is specified that the constitutive session of the Cortes for the XI Legislature will be on June 22 at 11:00 a.m.
Inaugurations prohibited
Therefore, and in compliance with the Organic Law of the General Electoral Regime (Loreg), from this Tuesday until the elections are held, public authorities are prohibited from carrying out any act of inauguration of public works or services or their projects, whatever the name used, without prejudice to the fact that said works or services may come into operation in said period.
It is also prohibited any act organized or financed, directly or indirectly, by the public authorities that contains allusions to the achievements or achievements obtained, or that uses images or expressions that coincide or are similar to those used in their own campaigns by any of the political entities. contesting the elections.
What the public powers can do are institutional campaigns aimed at informing citizens about the date of the vote, the voting procedure and the requirements and processing of voting by mail, without influencing, in any case, the orientation of the vote. of the voters.

Ruiz Molina has also recalled that the electoral campaign will begin at midnight from Thursday, May 11 to Friday, May 12, and will end at midnight from Friday, May 26 to Saturday, May 27.
For all these reasons, the Minister of Finance and Public Administrations has assessed that, with the signing of this Monday, “the preparations begin so that citizens can freely exercise the right to vote and decide with their vote the new composition of the Cortes”, in what will be the XI Legislature of the autonomous community.
