Ciudad Real (EFE).- The president of Castilla-La Mancha, Emiliano García-Page, has announced that next Tuesday, March 14, the regional government plans to sign with employers and unions the Employment Strategy until 2027, which will mean investing 1,100 million euros in employment policies.
This was announced by the president of Castilla-La Mancha this Friday, during the inauguration of the remodeling works of the Ciudad Real Alzheimer’s Center in which the regional government has invested one million euros.
García-Page has recognized that this signing will be “one of the most important agreements for all employment and future policies in the region” and has said that it will mean that “the region is going to dedicate 1,100 million to employment policies”.
García-Page has stressed that if he announces 1,100 million for employment policies, it is because he can do it, because the measure does not entail more deficit or more debt and because the region is “reasonably healthy” and is not “for today and hungry for tomorrow”.
Likewise, he has assured that Castilla-La Mancha is going “to be able to comply” with the fiscal rules, so that when Europe “says next year that it is necessary to stand firm again”, the autonomous community will “catch it with the task done”.
For the regional president, we must continue betting on public policies on employment.
On the other hand, the regional president has commented that Castilla-La Mancha is the region with the highest employability for people with disabilities, even in the public sphere.
And he recalled that also on Tuesday, March 14, the Governing Council is expected to approve a package of 22 million euros for policies related to the hiring of people with disabilities, with 4,000 beneficiaries. EFE
