Santa Cruz de Tenerife (EFE)
In the Canary Islands there are 2,943 polling stations prepared (1,379 in Santa Cruz de Tenerife and 1,564 in Las Palmas), distributed in 1,052 polling stations, 537 in the province of Santa Cruz de Tenerife and 515 in Las Palmas.
Fifteen representatives are elected to the Congress of Deputies in the two provincial constituencies, eight of them in Las Palmas and seven in Santa Cruz de Tenerife.
In the case of the Senate, there are seven island constituencies and a total of eleven representatives are elected: three from Gran Canaria, three from Tenerife and one from each of the other islands.
The census of July 23 records an increase of 53,216 people compared to the last general elections, held on November 10, 2019, an increase of 3.08%.
To guarantee security and order on election day, a force made up of 4,365 agents of the Security Forces and Corps is deployed. EFE
