Las Palmas de Gran Canaria (EFE).- Participation at 1:00 p.m. in the elections this Sunday is 28.90% in the Canary Islands, 1.82% higher than that registered in the last general elections, held on November 10, 2019.
In the province of Las Palmas the participation is 28.73% (2.17% more) and in that of Santa Cruz de Tenerife it is 29.06% (1.42% more).
These are provisional data provided by the Ministry of the Interior through its website, with the reported participation of 80% of the polling stations and 82% of the voters.
This data does not take into account voting by mail, which has reached historic figures in these elections: 2.47 million voters have sent their ballots throughout Spain before this Sunday. EFE
