At a rally in Burgos, a territory where the PP governs with Vox, Feijóo has asked to “cancel any blockade threat” by voting for the PP, and “to unblock the country of those whose only objective seems to be to have a position in a Ministry”.
“Those who say that they are very patriotic,” Feijóo ironized, without explicitly mentioning Vox, and has asked to “cancel any threat of blockade” uniting the vote around the PP, which is, he has remarked, the only guarantee of ending with the sanchismo.
Together with the president of the Junta de Castilla y León, Alfonso Fernández Mañueco, at the foot of the Cathedral of Santa María and before about 2,000 affiliates and supporters, according to the PP, Feijóo has said that he does not want to “depend on anything or on nobody” nor “owe anything”, only to the Spanish, so as not to be “subjected to any blackmail” and “break blockades and blocks”.
“And with no other conditions than the direct votes of the people,” stressed the PP candidate, who has taken the opportunity to recriminate the Prime Minister and socialist candidate, Pedro Sánchez, who criticizes the “supposed pacts” PP and Vox who says that they mean “going back to the tunnel of time”, when he has not accepted his proposal that the list with the most votes should govern.
Even more so, he said, when the latest survey by the Center for Sociological Research (CIS) places him as the winner. “If he says so much that he is going to win, why does he not say that he accepts it”, declared the PP candidate, and added: “Why don’t we agree not to agree, the need not to go to parties that do not have management experience or of government”.
