València (EFE).- Compromís-Sumar has presented this Wednesday its electoral program for the elections of July 23, in which it proposes measures such as fair financing for the Valencian Community, improvements in Cercanías with the transfer of powers to the Community and the completion of the Mediterranean Corridor.
The leader of the list, Àgueda Micó, the candidates for Congress, Alberto Ibáñez, Nahuel González and Àngela Llinares and the candidate for the Senate, Ignacio Blanco, have presented the program, which has the slogan ‘Your voice’, in the Sala La Muralla of the Colegio Mayor Rector Peset in Valencia.
It is a structured program in the form of 12 proposals for the 12 ministries proposed by Compromís-Sumar, and in which fair financing, the forgiveness of the historical debt and the completion of the Mediterranean Corridor are promised.
In addition, it includes the commitment to dignify and expand the suburban network with the transfer of powers to the Generalitat, as well as an urgent plan for the regeneration of Valencian beaches and coasts or a Law of Linguistic Equality to guarantee the use of Valencian before the administrations and public services.
The Compromís-Sumar program in health and energy
Compromís-Sumar also proposes in its program the shielding of public health management and the payment of the State’s health debt to the Generalitat, more university scholarships, and the guarantee that they are paid at the beginning of the course.
In energy matters, they have opted for “promoting solar energy and self-consumption while respecting the territory and biodiversity” and other social measures include a 32-hour working day with the same salary, the transfer of the 9,000 homes from the SAREB to the Generalitat to allocate them to affordable rent, the fight against the wage gap for women, parity in the decision-making bodies of companies, 12-month parenting permits and a State pact to shield LGTBI rights.
“After the regional and local elections, there are those who think that thousands of Valencians will remain silent, that we will resign ourselves to living in a land dominated by hate where PP and Vox share the business while targeting women, people LGTBI or our language and culture”, stated Micó.
“Voice of the Valencians”
In his opinion, there are those who think that this reality will not be “faced” but “in the next general elections Compromís-Sumar wants to be the voice of Valencians”.
“A brave voice, that does not resign itself and that will work day and night to restore dignity to our institutions, that will face every injustice, also from Madrid, a determined voice, that puts the rights of all and all ahead of others. privileges of a few”, highlighted the candidate.
