Las Palmas de Gran Canaria (EFE).- Almost two out of three voters residing in the Canary Islands, 62.5%, believe that the general elections on July 23 will be won by the PP, compared to 22.6% who gives the PSOE the winner, according to the pre-election survey published this Wednesday by the Center for Sociological Research.
The CIS grants, for the first time in the last year, the victory to the Popular Party, which would achieve 31.4% of the votes in the whole of Spain in the elections and between 122 and 140 seats in the Congress of Deputies, if Well, a collapse of Vox, which would lose almost half of its deputies, would prevent them from governing together.
The PSOE, as the second political force, thanks to the estimated 31.2% of the vote and a range of between 115 and 135 deputies, could retain the Government with the support of Sumar, since this coalition would take 16.4% of the votes and between 43 and 50 seats, predicts this body.
The survey does not include a projection of deputies by province, but it does include some questions on voting preferences with detailed answers by autonomous community.
In the Canary Islands, where the CIS conducted 1,093 interviews (568 in Las Palmas and 525 in Santa Cruz de Tenerife), the citizens’ forecast also points to a victory for the PP.
62.5% of those surveyed believe that Alberto Núñez Feijoo’s party will win on 23J, 22.6% that Pedro Sánchez’s party will win and 1.5% think that the most voted will be Vox. The rest of the policy options are below 1% in the forecasts.

But there are also citizens who would prefer they win three games that do not show up (0.4% would like a victory for Ciudadanos) or who do not run with a separate candidacy (1.6% would like Podemos to win and 0.5%, Izquierda Unida, formations both integrated in the Sumar lists).
The survey also reveals that two out of three voters in the Canary Islands have already decided on their vote (62.9%), while 14.6% hesitate between various parties and 18.2% have not yet decided anything.
