“Tenet”, “Dunkirk”, “Interstellar”, “Inception” and the “Dark Knight” trilogy, Christopher Nolan’s filmography has grossed more than 5,000 million dollars worldwide and has received eleven Oscars.
That, together with the interest in the character it is inspired by, the father of the atomic bomb, makes this thriller one of the most anticipated releases of the summer. The cast also includes Cillian Murphy, Emily Blunt, Matt Damon, Robert Downey Jr., Florence Pugh, Rami Malek and Kenneth Branagh.

There is also a lot of expectation around the Barbie conceived by Greta Gerwig and embodied in Margot Robbie, with Ryan Gosling as Ken, since it is expected that she will reverse the clichés about Mattel’s most famous doll to turn her into a feminist icon, albeit from the comedy.
The plot revolves around a doll that lives in Barbieland and is kicked out into the real world for not being perfect enough.

Pixar draws on the elements of nature – water, air, fire, earth – and their relationship to personality types in “Elemental,” a family-adventure comedy about parent-child relationships, immigration and the attraction between opposite poles.
Set in a city inhabited by characters made up of elements of nature, the story revolves around the relationship between Candela (a girl of fire and a second-generation immigrant) and a water boy named Nilo.
“We Are All Jane,” August 4
Elizabeth Banks and Sigourney Weaver star in this drama based on true events that focuses on the right to abortion in the United States and that comes one year after the controversial repeal of the ‘Roe v. Wade’ ruling that constitutionally protected that right.
The film, directed by Phyllis Nagy, screenwriter of “Carol”, tells the story of a group of women who create a system to support others who decide to terminate their pregnancies in Chicago in the late 1960s, when laws they still penalized these practices.

Javier Fesser reunites the cast of “Campeones” (2018), who leaves basketball to mistakenly enter the world of athletics at the hands of a rookie coach, an expert in attracting all kinds of misfortunes and calamities.
“Campeones” was a cinematic phenomenon in the year it was released when it grossed more than 20 million euros at the box office and won three Goya awards, including best film. This same year the “remake” was released in the United States starring Woody Harrelson.

The Northern Irish filmmaker and popularizer Mark Cousins, who gained a reputation for his documentary series “The Story of Cinema: An Odyssey,” takes an in-depth look at Alfred Hitchcock’s films in this new documentary.

Luca Guadagnino, director of “Call me by your name”, has reunited Zendaya, the star of “Euphoria”, with the British Josh O’Connor, known for series like “The Crown” and “The Durrells” and Mike Faist in a particular love triangle.
Set in the competitive world of professional tennis, a player-turned-coach (Zendaya) has transformed her husband Art (Faist) into a champion, but after a losing streak he enters a low-level tournament where he must face the ‘ex’ of his wife and former best friend of his (O’Connor).
