Madrid (EFE).- The Secretary of State for Social Rights, Nacho Álvarez, has joined Sumar’s campaign team to direct the proposals on social, economic and welfare state policies and will be the spokesman for the coalition on economic matters .
Nacho Álvarez, member of the Podemos Coordination Council and head of the economic area, has recently shown a clear harmony with the second vice president of the Government and leader of Sumar, Yolanda Díaz.
A “reference economist”, according to Sumar, Nacho Álvarez is a doctor in Economics from the Complutense University of Madrid and professor of Economics at the Autonomous University of Madrid in the Department of Economic Structure.
In January 2020, he was appointed Secretary of State for Social Rights, in the Ministry headed by the Secretary General of Podemos, Ione Belarra.
