Vitoria (EFE).- Incubus has broken all the molds with its perfect psychedelia at the Azkena Rock in Vitoria.
The festival has lived its second day with very varied bands and with a very large audience that has delivered at each concert.
Despite the notable differences of each group, the “azkeneros” have not disappointed and have climbed on the back of a festival that on its second day has stood out for the sound quality of each stage.
Incubus’ “Karma come back” has fully entered the pit of the Vitoria venue, which has recognized the supreme voice of Brandon Boyd.
Boyd has resolved the ballot with a note after canceling the last concerts due to illness.
The basses of the Californians have sounded perfect.
From the delight that his DJ Chris Kilmore has given himself in “Privilege” and in several other songs, to the acoustic perfection of the classic “Anna Molly” or “Nice to know you”.
After the version of “Come together” by The Beatles, the hit has entered into a mantra that has concluded with the well-known song “Drive”.
Pretenders, sober in the Azkena
By then, the public had already entered another phase thanks to the sobriety of Chrissie Hynde, outstanding with The Pretenders.
“Kid” has begun to heat up the atmosphere and “Hymn to her” has lived up to its title.
Hynde has interpreted it practically a cappella, in one of the moments of the night.

The anthem has given way to one of his hits, “Don’t tell me grong”-
Together with “Back on the chain gang” he has marked a staging without fanfare, but he has created the perfect atmosphere with “I’ll stand by you”.
Earthless, one of the most anticipated bands, has not disappointed.
Their distortion and their instrumental themes have been impeccable in a concert in which they have barely interacted with the public during their endless songs.
Calexico, the out-of-the-ordinary band at Azkena
In each edition of Azkena there is always a band that is out of the norm. This time it was Calexico.
Those from Arizona have played all styles, from cumbia, mariachi, country or indie-rock, and have made the public dance.
The Guapos has dragged a good part of the public to the “Love” stage at its baptism in the Azkena.
Much of the blame lay with Leiva, who got behind the drums the same day the album by this band of colleagues came out, which has delved into the 60s.
Leiva has also changed the drumsticks for the strings of his guitar to become a “frontman” with the Spanish version of “You never can tell” by Chuck Berry.
The night ended with the hardness and thrash metal of Gwar and the return to Azkena of the Nordics The Soundtrack of our lives, who have reunited eleven years later.
The Trasville has been another of the busiest places. The “azkenero” likes to feel close to the musician and that is only given to you by the most rogue hall of the festival.
In the early afternoon, the British band The Fuzillis has transferred its guitar sound to the center of Vitoria, which with its spicy saxophone has made the early risers dance.
The closing of Azkena Rock will be put on this Saturday by the legend Iggy Pop, with his unmistakable punk.
In addition, the country of Lucinda Williams; the chameleons Lucero; and the hard rock of Alter Bridge, one of the most anticipated of this edition. EFE
