Adrian Arias | Valladolid (EFE) autonomous coalition PP-Vox in the city councils.
Less than 24 hours after the constitution of the consistories, all the provincial capitals have already decided who will hold the baton of command for the next four years. With the exception of León, where an appeal presented by Vox against the annulment of 477 votes will delay this plenary session until July 7.
In this way, fifty percent of the municipalities of the provincial capitals will have a new mayor starting tomorrow, while in the other four their current first mayors will renew their mandate.
The situation in each capital:
– Avila
. Mayor: Jesús Manuel Sánchez Cabrera (XAV). Repeat.
. Pact: No. Minority government.
The localist formation Por Ávila (XAV) attends tomorrow the constitution session of the City Council of Avila with the intention of governing alone with its 11 councilors, as in the last legislature, reaching specific agreements with the rest of the groups during the next mandate.
– Burgos
. Mayor: Cristina Ayala (PP). New.
. Pact: PP-Vox.
Cristina Ayala will become the first mayor of Burgos tomorrow after PP-Vox reached an agreement whereby Fernando Martínez Acitores (Vox) will be deputy mayor. In addition, Vox will manage the citizen security and culture departments.
– León
The León City Council will not be able to be constituted tomorrow and will have to wait until July 7 due to the appeal filed by Vox against the decision of the Electoral Board of the León Zone to declare null and void all the ballots of this party in which 25 names appeared instead of 27, as is mandatory. However, everything indicates that José Antonio Diez (PSOE) will continue to lead the Consistory, although for this PSOE and UPL must close an agreement.
– Palencia
. Mayor: Miriam Andrés (PSOE). New.
. Pacts: No. Minority government.
The PSOE will govern Palencia from tomorrow in a minority and the socialist Miriam Andrés will become the first mayor in the history of the city, after announcing on Thursday Let’s go Palencia! that she will abstain in the vote and will thus leave the path to the list with the most votes.

– Segovia
. . . . Mayor: Jose Mazarias (PP). New.
. Pacts: No. Minority government.

. Pacts: No. Absolute majority.
The socialist Carlos Martínez will start his fourth term tomorrow, after obtaining a new absolute majority on 28M.
