Santander, (EFE).- 97.56 percent of the students in Cantabria have passed the Baccalaureate Assessment for University Access (EBAU), which this 2023 has been marked by errors in several exams.
After the exams, which were held between June 5 and 7, the University of Cantabria recognized three errors in the Spanish Language and Literature tests, in Spanish History and in Latin.
Although they were “resolved, in some cases during development” and “did not cause harm” to the students, after the EBAU the coordinator of this test resigned from his position.
Of the total, 2,755 of the 2,824 students from 46 public secondary schools and 11 subsidized schools in the region, enrolled in the EBAU in the regular June session, have passed the test.
And of the 77 students enrolled in higher grade cycles, 65.90% have passed
The average high school grade in this course has been 7.69, which means 4.61 points for the EBAU, but somewhat less than that of the 2022 call.
However, the average of this EBAU test in June was 7.18, 3.23% more than that achieved in 2022.
In the subjects in which errors were detected, the average marks have been higher than last year, according to the UC.
Thus, in Spanish Language and Literature II, it has gone from 6.75 in 2022 to 6.99 this year; in History of Spain from 7.69 to 8.02; and in Latin from 6.32 to 6.66.

In addition, students will be able to download the EBAU report card with the UC electronic stamp from the virtual campus, which is valid to present at any university or organization.
From Monday the 19th to Wednesday the 21st of June, students who do not agree with the grade of any of their exercises may present the grade review through the University’s virtual campus.
On June 26, the final grades of the students who have requested the review will be published and the ordinary call for this course will be terminated.
Students who have not passed this test, who have passed the Baccalaureate in the extraordinary call, or wish to improve the qualification obtained in this test, have another opportunity in the extraordinary call of the EBAU, which will be held on days 5, 6 and 7. of July.
