Rome, May 29 (EFE).- Four people died when a boat capsized in which a group of about 20 tourists were celebrating a party this Sunday on Lake Maggiore, in northern Italy.
The rescue teams already recovered three bodies yesterday.
The fire brigade divers continued throughout the night to search for the last missing person, who was finally found this morning, at a depth of 16 meters.
According to the prosecutor’s office, the deceased are an Israeli, a couple of Italian tourists and the wife of the captain of the boat, of Russian origin.

The boat, in which there was a group of about 20 tourists and two crew members, sank in the area of Lisanza and Dormelletto, in the area of Lombardia, northern Italy, due to a strong storm that caused it to capsize towards the 7:30 p.m. (5:30 p.m. GM) this Sunday and then sank.
All the people who were on the boat ended up in the water: most managed to reach the shore by swimming between the towns of Lisanza and Piccaluga, while others were rescued by boats that were in the area.
Two of the rescued were transported to the Gallarate and Varese hospital, three to Angera and 15 were treated on the spot.
“A storm caused a very serious accident on Lake Maggiore: a 16-meter sailboat rented by tourists capsized. The firefighters of the Milan diving team, together with the coast guard, the helicopter rescue service are working on the spot,” the president of the Lombardia region, Attilio Fontana, wrote on social media.
