According to data from the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet), the islands of Gran Canaria, La Palma, La Gomera, El Hierro and Tenerife are also on alert, given the prediction of strong winds of up to 80 kilometers per hour, and by the waves.
The most intense rains will be recorded in the communities of Aragon, Catalonia and the Valencian Community, according to data from Aemet, which has advanced that up to 20 liters per square meter will be collected in some places, for which reason activated the “yellow” warning (risk).
The three communities, and those of Castilla-La Mancha and Murcia, are also warned due to the forecast of strong storms, in most cases late in the afternoon and with a high probability that they will be accompanied by hail.
Weather forecasts suggest that the situation will improve tomorrow and that the storms will subside over the next few days.
