Madrid (EFE) of the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet).
In addition to the storms, the strong winds, with gusts of up to 80 kilometers per hour, have caused the “yellow” notices to be activated on the islands of Gran Canaria, La Gomera, El Hierro and Tenerife.
The strong storms that are going to be recorded from early this afternoon in many parts of the country have justified the activation of the “yellow” notices in six communities, and the Aemet has announced that in most cases they could be accompanied by hail and strong gusts of wind, as well as strong intensity showers.
The Aemet data indicates that the storms will begin to form at 2:00 p.m. today and will last throughout the afternoon in the six communities in which the warnings have been activated.
