Santander (EFE).- The Santander airport registered a maximum temperature of 34.3 degrees this Wednesday, the third highest in all of Spain after two Andalusian towns, although the thermometers have been above 30 degrees in almost the region on a hot and muggy day.
According to the data collected until 5:30 p.m. reflected on the website of the State Meteorological Agency, the maximum registered in the Cantabrian capital has only been exceeded by 34.5 degrees in Andújar (Jaén) and 34.4 in Fuente Palmera (Cordova).
Ramales de la Victoria has also been among the ten highest temperatures in Spain, with 33.7 degrees, while San Felices de Buelna has been in third place in the region when the thermometer reached 33 degrees.
The heat has also been felt in Torrelavega which, with a maximum of 32.9 degrees, has ranked as the fourth highest temperature in the region, while inland, Cillórigo de Liébana has not been spared either and has reached 32.4 degrees.
