Valladolid (EFE).- The “deterioration of democratic quality”, the “regression” of rights, the “devaluation” of public services and the creation of a climate that “undermines coexistence and peace” will be the main points that integrate the Villalar manifesto that 19 organizations will present this Thursday in Valladolid, which will also call to change the policies of the PP and Vox in the 28M elections.
An act in the Plaza de la Universidad de Valladolid that will precede the celebration of Community Day next Sunday, April 23 and that is intended to be a “call for social mobilization”, as reported this Tuesday in a statement by the 19 organizations , made up of political parties, trade unions and civil society.
This appeal also aims to achieve, as they have highlighted, “massive assistance” in the Villalar de los Comuneros countryside and the maximum participation in the municipal elections that will be held on Sunday, May 28, when citizens “can demonstrate with their vote the rejection to the policies of hate and confrontation that the PP is carrying out with its government partner”.
The manifesto thus claims “full democracy, which includes the recognition of political, union and social forces in the democratic exercise with participation in areas of agreement that already exist, such as the Social Dialogue that the extreme right wants to curtail”.
It also demands the maintenance of public services such as health, education and social services, which “an increasingly evident privatization policy and a tendency to reduce income, lowering taxes for those who have more, are systematically deteriorating” .EFE
