Murcia, Apr 11 (EFE).- Roger LS, 19, the alleged perpetrator of the murder on Saturday of the gunsmith of the Granollers de Canovelles shooting club (Barcelona), who was arrested at the Murcia station, has been made available this Tuesday of the duty judge.
The detainee, who came out with his face uncovered and with a calm countenance, was transferred in a patrol car from the Murcia Police Headquarters to the City of Justice to give a statement before the judge, who could refer the case to the courts of Barcelona, who are the ones instructing the cause.
The shooting occurred around 7:30 p.m. on Saturday when, for reasons being investigated by the Mossos d’Esquadra, the assailant opened fire on the victim, who was badly injured and died shortly after, when both were in the Granollers private shooting club , located in Canovelles (Barcelona).
The alleged murderer escaped forcing two women, whom he threatened with a gun, to take him by car to Murcia, where they arrived early Sunday morning after driving all night, and once there, he got out of the vehicle in a central square and let them leave.
The two women, residents of Barcelona, stopped at a gas station in the Murcian town of Molina de Segura and called the Police to request help and provide a physical description of their alleged kidnapper.
Both told the police that their captor was going to the Murcia train station, where two agents from the special units identified him. When they approached the man, he took out a pistol, which he came to grip, but could be reduced and detained before he used it, sources from the National Police have explained to EFE, who have indicated that at the time of the arrest he had in his power two firearms with ammunition and a bladed weapon.
