Lugo, Mar 19 (EFE).- Veljko Mrsic, coach of Río Breogán, explained that his team failed in “many things” against Casademont Zaragoza (71-87) at Pazo dos Deportes in Lugo and regretted that the sky-blue ones did not have more energy than his rival.
“We weren’t good in defense, especially in the first quarter, in which we started very weakly and Zaragoza had very good percentages, with 17 of 19 shots of 2. From there they gained confidence and played better than us”, he acknowledged in the wheel Post-match press.
Mrsic admitted that his team was not “well” against the hands in a game in which they were never ahead and in which they failed “in many things.”
“Zaragoza is a more physical team than us and, if you don’t have the energy above them, it’s difficult to compete. We weren’t good at the back and in attack in the second half we missed open shots. It is clear that they were better than us, ”he conceded.
