Logroño, (EFE).- The PSOE La Rioja has celebrated this Sunday in Riojaforum an act of presentation of candidacies of municipalities with more than 1,000 inhabitants. 30 candidates from municipalities that encompass 91% of the inhabitants of La Rioja.
30 qualified people whose average age is 41 years and who will offer a project on May 28 to “continue
consolidating economic growth, business innovation, opportunities for our youth, quality public services and stable and quality employment”, said the regional secretary of the party and president of La Rioja, Concha Andreu.
He has underlined the progress that has been made since 2019 in “all” the municipalities of La Rioja, stating that “never have so many resources been invested in the territory, 60% more this legislature, never before have there been so many aid programs for our municipalities ».
Andreu has highlighted the 2.8 million enabled to improve the accessibility of public spaces and buildings, the 4 million destined for the renovation of municipal public lighting, 7 million for the renovation of water supply networks “so that no municipality is remains without a subsidy”, the 14 million of the 2021-2022 Works and Services Plan, and the more than 15 million euros for the 23-24 Plan.
Figures, investments “that respect local autonomy, that end the favoritism of investments according to political color”, because, he has reaffirmed, “we benefit all the residents of the 174 municipalities of La Rioja,
because La Rioja and its municipalities do much better when we govern the socialists ».
Likewise, the general secretary has assured that “the change that we offered to the people of La Rioja has worked, and that now is the time to consolidate it to complete the transformation of La Rioja, so as not to return to the
assignment of the past”.
And it is that, he continued, “we are the only political outside that can offer stability, a sense of region, and a
