Logroño, (EFE).- The socialist spokesman in Congress, Patxi López, addressed the PP this Sunday to tell him that “enough of the insults!” and that “the soles of the shoes do not reach the PSOE” in “dignity, harmony and rights”, some principles that will lead them to “win” again on May 28.
“Yesterday (Saturday) Aznar and Rajoy dispatched themselves at ease” against the PSOE in the Intermunicipal of the PP in Valencia, he added in his speech at an act of presentation of candidacies for socialist mayors in La Rioja.
López has reproached the former presidents of the Government, José María Aznar and Mariano Rajoy, for saying that the Socialists “have agreed with the enemies of Spain”, in reference to terrorism, in the first case, and that “the Spaniards are not going to forget the things of the politics we do”, in the second.
He has criticized Aznar for “negotiating with ETA after the murder of Miguel Angel Blanco, for calling ETA a national liberation movement while ETA was murdering.”
“He said it yesterday, (Aznar) who wanted to deceive an entire country by saying that the 11M attack was carried out by ETA when he knew he was a jihadist just to stay in power,” he added.
Along the same lines, he referred to the PP spokesman in the Senate, Javier Maroto, who “agreed with Bildu, when he was mayor of Vitoria, the urban planning of Vitoria and told us to see if we learned.”
He has also criticized Rajoy for accusing former socialist president José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero of “kneeling to the victims” of terrorism.
«This far we have come, enough is enough! For the memory and dignity of socialists, we are not going to allow more insults from these people that do not reach the height of the soles of our shoes,” said López, to the applause of all the mayoral candidates with more than 1,000 inhabitants. and the regional secretary of the PSOE and president of La Rioja, Concha Andreu.
