Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, (EFE) use as a “launch” of candidacies, the last one being that of Minister Carolina Darias for mayoress of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.
During the presentation of the city project of his party’s candidate for mayor of the capital of Gran Canaria, Jimena Delgado, Feijóo regretted that five ministers will pass through the Ministry of Health in these four years of legislature, once he ceases to Darias, who “came to the Ministry to learn” and is going to be fired without having “learned anything”.
Faced with the PSOE candidate, he has highlighted the managerial profile of the economist and civil servant Jimena Delgado, who has “training and curriculum” compared to his rival, the Minister of Health, who will be dismissed in March to dedicate himself to his candidacy, despite to that “he likes the destination where he is better”.
In addition, Feijóo has remarked that Health “is a public service, not a casting to make candidates (for ministers) when they do not work”, and has reprimanded Pedro Sánchez for criticizing the health management of the autonomous communities “in order to save himself him” and “as long as he opposes the PP”.
“Health that we all finance should not be trivialized, politicized or taken in vain,” stressed Feijóo, who recalled that, in the 14 years that he was president of Galicia, he had five directors in that area.
In his speech, the leader of the PP has also reiterated that “almost everything in Sánchez is a lie” and that his “acts are beginning to be fiction”, and that he “has not prepared the stage for them to applaud him” nor have they brought “like-minded people”, as is the case with the President of the Government, “who do not know the reality of this country”.
Likewise, he has once again criticized the “botch” of the law of yes only is yes, and of the trans law, which will be what changes first if he wins the general elections.
The PP will approve a law for the trans collective, because it needs it, it will be a norm that will not affect minors and will not allow them to make decisions that they may regret for the rest of their lives, the leader of the PP has stressed.
And “we are going to protect Spanish women again” and not because the polls are not favorable to the PP, as is the case with the PSOE, which “all are doing poorly except for Tezanos, but out of respect for women”, he affirmed. Feijóo, who has been satisfied with the results of the latest barometer from the Center for Sociological Research and has congratulated his party on it.
Feijóo has considered that the Government of Sánchez is “collapsed” and “it only has the public checkbook left and the disqualification of those who disagree”, for which he has accused him of trying to “divide the Spanish” instead of aspiring to be better, govern better or keep their promises.
He has insisted that his party is the only alternative and that the criticism he receives is due to the fact that they see the PP as a “strong” party and that they know that “they are going to go to the opposition.”
“Spain is tired of the deceit, errors, division and arrogance” of the Sánchez government, according to Feijóo, who has advanced that the PP will make decisions guided by responsibility, public service and general interests.
The PP “we are the only alternative to form the government that the country “deserves and needs”, and the “only possibility to change things”.
Feijóo has also said that he assumed the responsibility of leading the PP to unite the party, win the elections and govern for all Spaniards”; and the first has already been achieved.
