Madrid, Jun 5 (EFE).- The Galician Ana Peleteiro, bronze medalist in the triple jump in Tokyo 2020 and European indoor champion in Glasgow 2019, among other achievements, announced this Monday her return to competition after becoming a mother.
“Finally the time has come. MY MOMENT. After 15 months off the slopes, and 5 months after fulfilling myself as a mother… BACK ON THE ROAD!”, the Galician, who also won bronze at the Birmingham 2018 World Indoor Championships, posted on her social networks, at the Europeans on air free of Berlin 2018 and the continental silver on the indoor track of Torun 2021.
“And this time stronger, more mature and with more desire than ever!” continues Peleteiro, 27, who sets his return to action for the next 14th at the international meeting in Castellón.
Iván Pedroso’s pupil, who has set the triple jump national record at 14.87 meters, gave birth to a girl, Lúa, last December.
