Marbella (Málaga) (EFE).- The singer Miguel Bosé has received the “Global Gift Philanthropist Award” for his humanitarian work over the years during the celebration of the eleventh charity gala of Global Gift, the foundation that is championed by businesswoman and philanthropist María Bravo, together with the American actress, director and activist Eva Longoria.
Miguel Bosé has shown his deep gratitude for this award and has emphasized the importance of using fame and influence to cause a positive impact on society.
Likewise, he highlighted “the commitment of the Global Gift Foundation and its dedication to supporting those who need it most, especially children with special needs.”
Eva Longoria, who rose to fame by playing the cheeky Gabrille Solis in the popular television series “Desperate Housewives” (2004-2012), has once again served as the exceptional hostess of the evening together with María Bravo, whom she has a great friendship with.
“At this Global Gift Gala we come together to make a difference, to make an impact in the lives of those who need it most”, Longoria specified during his speech, since “each act of generosity, however small, can transform realities”.
The actress, who has just made her debut as a director with “Flamin’hot”, has highlighted that “together we can weave a network of support and love that encompasses the entire world” and has invited attendees “to join this mission of compassion and empowerment” and to continue “working for a more just and caring world for all”.
The eleventh edition of one of the summer events on the Costa del Sol has brought together renowned figures from the world of sport, culture and entertainment in Marbella, including actress Paula Echevarría and her husband, soccer player Miguel Torres, Miss World Spain 2022, Paula Pérez, or the Danish model and actress, Brigitte Nielsen.
The Guess model, Lidia Santos; the soprano Angélica de la Riva accompanied by her husband, the businessman Marcos de Quinto; actresses Polina Pushkareva and Ella Kweku; the presenters Carlos Sobera and Luján Argüelles and Mr International Spain 2023, Toni Company.
On this occasion, they have acted as masters of ceremonies for the gala -sponsored by the owner and general manager of the restaurants Nota Blu New Brasserie and Mamzel at Finca Besaya, the former soccer player based in Marbella Zazou Belounis- the actor Iván Sánchez and the actress co-star of “Flamin’Hot”, Annie González.
María Bravo, for her part, thanked Belounis for his “dedication and tireless work”, and highlighted the “profound impact” he has left in the community. She said of him that “he is an example of compassion and kindness” and she was satisfied “to be able to walk with you in this beautiful mission to change lives and make the world a better place.
The performance of Leen Beat together with his dancers, who has encouraged the public by singing and dancing to the rhythm of urban music, and the traditional charity raffle in which, among other things, a painting by the artist and architect Jaime Monge was auctioned off, completed this event that had a hot summer night in the city of Marbella as a backdrop.
