Pamplona (EFE).- The PSN-PSOE has been the party with the most votes in these elections in Navarra, where it has won two of the five deputies at stake, followed by EH Bildu, which has positioned itself as the second force with one seat, and PP and UPN, which on this occasion have concurred separately and have distributed the other two.
The Socialists have recovered the deputy they lost in 2019 in elections that have yielded very different results to the last general elections, in which the Navarra Suma coalition (UPN, PP and Cs) was the most voted and achieved two deputies, while the other three were for the PSN, EH Bildu and Unidas Podemos.
In addition, with these results, it is confirmed that in Navarra people vote differently in regional and general elections (in the regional elections UPN was the force with the most votes and this 23J was the fourth) and that EH Bildu is a coalition that is consolidated in the Foral Community, reaching second place.
The Socialists, the ones that grow the most in support
The Socialists who in 2019 obtained 83,734 votes on this occasion have registered the greatest increase in the number of supports, 2.39 points more to 92,798 and EH Bildu has gone from 56,548 to 58,686, which represents 0.43 points more.
The separate concurrence of UPN and PP has been the main novelty of these elections in the Foral Community. Like the Navarra Suma coalition, they obtained 99,078 votes and separately they have exceeded that figure, with the popular ones ahead with more than 56,483 and the regionalists with 51,764.
In 2019 Unidas Podemos won a seat with 55,498 votes, a figure that Sumar has not reached, with 43,564, so the coalition has been left without representation in the Lower House. For its part, Vox, which in 2019 added 19,440 supports, has remained in these elections with 19,213.
The five Navarrese deputies
In this way, the representatives of Navarra in the Congress of Deputies in the next legislature will be: Santos Cerdán (PSN), Adriana Maldonado (PSN), Bel Pozueta (EH Bildu), Sergio Sayas (PP) and Alberto Catalán (UPN).
As for the Senate, pending the completion of the recount, which is going more slowly, at 90% of the ballot, the Socialists would win three seats and UPN one, the latter very much fought with EH Bildu. In 2019 the Socialists had a single representative and the other three were from the Navarra Suma coalition.
With these results, the senators for Navarra would be Javier Remírez (PSN), Nuria Medina (PSN), Antonio Magdaleno (PSN) and María Caballero (UPN).
