Díaz, in an appearance at the Sumar headquarters interrupted several times to the cry of “president, president”, has assured that they will continue working for a better country to “continue winning rights, this is what the public thing is about: more health, more education, more life”.
Shouts of ‘president, president’
The leader of Sumar and second vice president, Yolanda Díaz, arrived at the party headquarters at eleven o’clock at night accompanied by her daughter Carmela, where she was received by the auditors and volunteers of the coalition shouting “president, president.”
Díaz, whom Sumar’s spokesman, Ernest Urtasun, was also waiting at the headquarters on Larra Street, entered with a smile from the Ministry of Labor, where he followed most of the electoral count.
When 95 percent of the votes have been counted, Sumar stands at 31 seats, seven less than those obtained by Unidas Podemos, Más País and Compromís, integrated into the coalition, in the November 2019 elections.
