Valencia (EFE).- The main figures of the general elections that are held this Sunday in the Valencian Community are the following:
Electoral census
- A total of 3,727,999 people from the Valencian Community (1,990,911 in Valencia, 1,306,271 in Alicante and 430,817 in Castellón) can vote in these elections.
- Of these, 3,602,131 are residents of the Community and 125,868 are Valencians residing abroad.
- A total of 173,333 people will be able to exercise their right to vote for the first time because they have turned 18 since the 2019 general elections: 62,073 from Alicante, 19,880 from Castellón and 91,380 from Valencia.
- A total of 181,765 people have asked to vote by mail, a record high due to the coincidence of the elections with the summer holidays.
Applications
- 33 of the 350 deputies that make up the Congress are elected here (16 for Valencia -one more than four years ago-, 12 for Alicante and 5 for Castellón) and 12 of the 208 senators of the Upper House (four for each constituency of the Community).
- 11 lists have been proclaimed to the Congress and 10 to the Senate in Valencia; 9 to Congress and 7 to the Senate in Alicante; and 8 to Congress and 7 to the Senate in Castellón.

- 37.6 million ballots in the Valencian Community (33,389,093 correspond to Congress and 4,295,690 to the Senate).
- 6,167 voting booths.
- 16,254 ballot boxes.
- 9,083 agents of the Security Forces and Corps ensure the safety of the day.
- Cost of the electoral device: 5.1 million euros.
- 2,913 representatives of the Administration will be at the polling stations, equipped with tablets and mobiles.
- 6,167 polling stations (3,200 in Valencia, 2,227 in Alicante and 740 in Castellón).
- Red Cross volunteers will help people with reduced mobility to exercise their right to vote with a free ambulance service.

- Proclamation of elected by the electoral boards: from August 1 to 9.
- Date of constitution of the Cortes Generales arising from the elections: August 17.
