Madrid (EFE).- The province of Malaga and the Region of Murcia have activated this Thursday the orange notice (important risk) for heat with maximums that will reach 40 degrees, according to Aemet reports on its website.
The Region of Murcia continues in orange due to heat of up to 40 degrees in Vega del Segura and in the Guadalentín, Lorca and Águilas valley, while in the rest of the community there is a yellow alert (risk) due to records of 39 degrees and storms.
In Andalusia, only the province of Malaga continues in orange due to highs of up to 40 degrees in points of Sol and Guadalhorce; Almería, Córdoba, Granada, Jaén and Seville are in yellow for values of 39 degrees, and in Almería there is also a yellow alert for storms.
The communities of Aragón, Castilla-La Mancha, Catalonia and the island of Mallorca (Balearic Islands) have a yellow warning for records that will oscillate between 34 and 39 degrees or for storms.
The Aemet warns that with the orange alert there is a risk of unusual meteorological phenomena and with a certain degree of danger for usual activities, and with the yellow alert there is no meteorological risk for the population in general, although there is for some specific activity.
