La Laguna (Tenerife) (EFE).- Lenovo Tenerife announced this Thursday the signing of Madrid power forward Edgar Vicedo, from Monbus Obradoiro, for the next 2023-2024 season with the option of one more.
The new player from the Tenerife team has extensive experience in the Endesa League, where he has played 258 games, and has been an absolute Spanish international and in all the lower categories, including a silver medal in the U20 European Championship in Crete 2014.
Vicedo, 204 centimeters tall, averaged 5.8 points at the Monbus Obradoiro (with a 39.8 percent success rate on three-pointers) and 2.7 rebounds, for 6.3 credits in valuation in the 18 minutes he had on average.
Once the season with the A Coruña team ended, he punctually reinforced Brillantes de Zulia in the final series for the title of the Venezuelan league.
Vicedo, who will turn 29 on August 24, trained in the youth ranks of Estudiantes and made his first team debut under Txus Vidorreta, current coach of Lenovo Tenerife, in the 2012-2013 season.
After his time at Ramiro, which included a loan for a course to Peñas de Huesca of LEB Oro and more than 200 games with the student squad, spread over nine seasons, he played temporarily for Unicaja Málaga and Fuenlabrada, before joining Monbus Obradoiro in the middle of the 2021-2022 season. EFE
