Madrid (EFE).- The three-way debate on TVE ended with a moderate tone, with two clear ideological blocks -Pedro Sánchez and Yolanda Díaz, on the one hand, and Santiago Abascal, on the other- and with the figure of the absent Alberto Núñez Feijóo planning at times around the set.
These are some of the most outstanding phrases of the debate:
- “Right Yolanda?” – Several times Pedro Sánchez has sought the endorsement of the leader of Sumar, whom he has repeatedly referred to as “the vice president”.
- “You are unable to defend women because of the many purple stickers that you put on your lapel” (Santiago Abascal)
- “Mr. Abascal, stop laughing at women” (Yolanda Díaz)
- “You are the Iberian exception in the worst sense” (Abascal to Sánchez)
- “This heat wave is not a coincidence; It’s called climate change” (Yolanda Díaz)
- “Mr. Feijóo is not here because he is ashamed to appear next to Mr. Abascal” (Pedro Sánchez)
- “Would you put the education of your children in your hands -of Vox-?” (diaz)
- “The PP and Vox have systematically voted against revaluing pensions” (Sánchez)
- “You represent the hammer and sickle, Mrs. Diaz. They are used to giving orders and perhaps with others it was worth it, but not with us”. (Abascal to Yolanda Diaz).
