Málaga (EFE).- The Civil Guard is looking for a man of British nationality for allegedly stabbing his girlfriend in Mijas (Málaga), who was thrown from a moving car after being injured in the thigh.
Investigators are trying to determine if the assailant threw her out of the vehicle or it was she who jumped to escape from it, as reported by Diario Sur on Friday and police sources have confirmed to EFE.
The events occurred this week after the couple had been at a beach club in the Malaga town of Mijas and, when they got into the vehicle, they began to argue.
The investigations reveal that during the discussion, the alleged attacker stabbed her in the thigh and she was thrown from the car.
The man fled but has already been identified and could be a 35-year-old British citizen with a long history of violence in the United Kingdom, according to the newspaper Sur.
The victim was evacuated to the Costa del Sol Hospital, where in addition to the stab wound, he also had injuries from the fall of the moving vehicle.
The young woman has already been discharged from the hospital, as reported to EFE by health sources.
