“Mission Impossible: Deadly Judgment-Part One”
Seventh installment of the action and espionage saga starring Tom Cruise who brought to the cinema the popular television series “Mission Impossible” from the sixties. “Elemental”
Directed by Peter Sohn, “Elemental” is the new bet from Pixar. An immersive experience and one of the studio’s most ambitious technological bets, although so far it has not achieved a very relevant result at the box office, with 253 million dollars worldwide, far from the more than 1,000 that other titles from the studio like “Toy Story 4” (2019) or “The Incredibles 2” (2018).
“Elemental” is set in a city inhabited by characters made up of elements of nature -water, air, fire, earth-, and revolves around the relationship between Candela (a girl of fire and second-generation immigrant) and a boy from water called Nile. A story about parent-child relationships and culture shock.
A feature film that premieres accompanied by the short “Carl’s date”, which recovers the character of Carl Fredricksen and his dog Dug, protagonists of “Up” (2009). This time the man agrees to go on a date with a friend.
“Waiting for Dalí”
David Pujol’s first feature film is a tale about life, love and food, starring Iván Massagué, Clara Ponsot, Nicolas Cazalè, Pol López and Paco Tous, which premiered in the official section of the Malaga Festival.

“The return of the swallows”
Winner of the Seminci Golden Spike in 2022, this film directed by the Chinese Li Ruijun, had problems with censorship in China for showing the poverty and decay of the rural environment, and also urban speculation.
Premiered at the Berlinale, the film tells how a story of love and respect is built that begins as an arranged marriage between two people expelled from their respective families: a barren woman and a farmer who is beginning to be too old to continue alone.
“The Braibanti case”
Veteran Italian filmmaker Gianni Amelio began preparing a documentary that later became fiction to tell the story of Aldo Braibanti, an Italian playwright and poet who in the 1960s was accused of ‘psychological plagiarism’, a criminal figure who disappeared in the 1980s. which was used to prosecute homosexuals for having subjected other men to their will.
Starring Luigi Lo Cascio and Leonardo Maltese, it tells, halfway between realism and naturalism, the love relationship that develops between a teacher and his student in Italy in the sixties.
“Anything”
Based on the eponymous book by Danish Janne Teller, “Nothing” is a thriller about a group of young people who embark on a journey away from the safety and innocence of childhood, directed by Trine Piil Christensen.
