The Ukrainian army reported on Monday the liberation on the Bakhmut flanks of a total of 24 square kilometers since the counteroffensive began more than five weeks ago. kyiv also said then that its troops have the Russian-occupied city under fire control, having taken the heights on the margin.
The Ukrainian General Staff explained on Wednesday that Ukrainian troops repelled Russian attacks in some areas of the Bakhmut front and in Avdivka, Márinka and Limán, also in the east.
