Madrid (EFE).- A total of 37,466,432 voters will be able to vote in the elections to the Cortes Generales on July 23 in Spain. Of these, 35,141,122 are residents in the country and 2,325,310 abroad, according to data from the National Institute of Statistics (INE).
Of the voters residing in Spain, 1,639,179 will vote for the first time in a general election, having turned 18 years old after the last general elections, held on November 10, 2019.

Argentina ranks first as the country with the largest number of Spanish voters residing abroad with 434,599, followed by France (237,656), the United States (157,969), Cuba (152,791) and Germany (142,537).
In addition, other countries with the largest presence of Spaniards with the right to vote correspond to Mexico (135,753), the United Kingdom (133,909), Brazil (120,295), Venezuela (117,911) and Switzerland (107,824).
Finally, Uruguay (60,319), Chile (57,786) and Belgium (55,784) also appear on the list of the National Institute of Statistics.
