Kiev (EFE).- The Ukrainian army reported today new “partial successes” in the town of Klishchivka, south of Bakhmut, and announced that its troops continue to repel the Russian offensives in Limán, Avdivka and Márinka, also located on the front from the east.
“We see partial successes in the Klishchivka area,” said the spokesman for the Ukrainian General Staff, Andri Kovalov, who also explained that the Ukrainian forces are consolidating on the ground that they have managed to recapture on that part of the front.
Kovalov confirmed that Ukrainian offensive operations are also continuing north of the city of Bakhmut, which is practically entirely occupied by the Russians.
According to the military spokesman of the Ukrainian General Staff, the Russian forces are mobilizing reserves to face the Ukrainian operations and suffer heavy losses.
Ukraine began its counteroffensive more than a month ago and is carrying out attack actions in the Bakhmut area and two other front points located further south, in the Donetsk and Zaporizhia provinces.
