Valencia, Jul 5 (EFE).- The workers of a Mercadona warehouse in Ribarroja de Túria (Valencia) have been evicted around 7:00 p.m. this Wednesday when a fire broke out, as reported by the Provincial Firefighters Consortium.
The facility is located in the l’Oliveral industrial estate in the aforementioned town and seven fire brigade crews and several command units have traveled to the area.
The flames broke out around 7:00 p.m. in an isolated warehouse within an area operated by this distribution firm, according to the firefighters, who indicate that the company informed them upon arrival that the workers had been evacuated.
From Mercadona it has been reported that the fire affects one of the dry goods warehouses (products that are not fresh) of the Ribarroja logistics block and it has been stressed that the workers have been evicted as soon as the alarms have sounded, so there is no personal injury has occurred.
At the time the flames broke out, they add, practically all the stores had been served, and once the firefighters’ work is finished, they will proceed to assess the situation and determine the causes of the fire, which are currently unknown.
