“Late in the afternoon (on Tuesday), the enemy launched fierce attacks on residential areas and the hospital complex in the Chervonogvardeiski district of Makiivka. The shock wave was felt by the majority of residents of Makiivka and Donetsk,” the regional capital, Pushilin said on his Telegram account.
According to the head of the administration of the occupied city, Vladislav Kliuchkárov, so far the number of civilians injured in the attack amounts to 41, including two children born in 2009 and 2014.
Nine medical facilities damaged, according to Russia
A 61-year-old man died from the missile bombardment, he said on Rossía-24 public television.
According to the Russian authorities, nine medical facilities were damaged, including the endocrinological center, two clinics, the municipal psychiatric hospital, tuberculosis and drug treatment clinics, two outpatient clinics and a blood transfusion station.
Kliuchkárov further assured that forty buildings, 12 educational institutions, 13 kindergartens, 4 sports centers, 13 social facilities and two fire stations suffered material damage from the missile bombardment.
