Torrevieja (Alicante), Jul 2 (EFE) It has occurred in the Valencian Community, where there will be a bipartite between both forces for the next four years in the Generalitat.
Speaking to journalists on the Vista Alegre promenade in Torrevieja (Alicante), on the occasion of a pre-campaign act, Abascal has indicated that Vox “is waiting to see if the PP (of Murcia) is aware that it cannot build an alternative alone when you do not have an absolute majority” in the Parliament based in Cartagena.
He has reported that the last legislature in Murcia had an “unsuccessful and unpleasant” experience with the popular Fernando López Miras because there was an agreement for his investiture “that was not fulfilled” by the Murcian president because, even, “he governed with defectors from Vox” .
“In these elections, the people of Murcia have given us twice as much support as we had and we are not going to give it away for free to those who have shown us that they are not trustworthy”, for which “we have to see what the formulas are or mechanisms for the fulfillment of a possible agreement” because “Mr. López Miras lied to Vox, he governed with defectors and that is something that has consequences.”
Abascal has abounded that Vox has “reached out” to the Murcian PP since the day after the May 28 elections and that what they want is for the popular “to say how any type of pact with them is going to be guaranteed.”
The leader of Vox has contrasted the situation in the Region of Murcia with what happened in the Valencian Community, where he has stated that a pact with the PP of Carlos Mazón can be “celebrated with special joy” which will mean “a change of course” that will facilitate “schooling children in Spanish after many years, linguistic freedom”, as well as policies in favor of the countryside, industry and a large tax cut, and bring security to the streets “fighting drug trafficking mafias people”.
