Oviedo, (EFE) the meeting that he tried to convene with the FSA-PSOE to address the constitution of the Board of the Chamber in plenary session held last Monday.
The FSA-PSOE closed an agreement with the IU so that one of its three deputies would join one of the two secretariats of the parliament’s governing body, which led the coalition to vote together with the 19 socialist parliamentarians for the candidates designated by the Socialists for the Presidency and the First Vice Presidency.
“Then we tried it with the Podemos Asturies delegation and its deputy told us that she would not even attend the meeting,” Barbón said on Twitter.
Tome asks for seriousness
For his part, Tomé, who appointed a different negotiating commission from the one appointed by the regional leadership of Podemos Asturies, with which he continues to be in conflict, has responded to Barbón in the same way to warn him that the region has a lot at stake with the next government and that “that is why seriousness is convenient”.
“There is no person more interested than me in meeting with you, both head of the list of our candidacies, to achieve a stable progressive government. Let’s already close a date to talk ”, he adds.
Tomé has been insisting, like the IU, on his desire to establish a tripartite government that has the support of the absolute majority that the three formations have in the Chamber -19 from the PSOE, 3 from the IU and 1 from Podemos- to promote progressive policies and thus avoid agreements to reach that threshold with the only Forum deputy, a formation, remember, that is a “partner” of Vox.
The PSOE, open to negotiate “at any time”
The deputy secretary general of the FSA-PSOE, Gimena Llamedo, who is part of her party’s negotiating committee together with the parliamentary spokesperson, Dolores Carcedo, and the president of the General Board, Juan Cofiño, have joined the debate, pointing out Tomé that, as he has already transferred to him in private, his party is open “to sit down and negotiate at any time.”
In fact, Llamedo warns, the FSA-PSOE negotiating committee already held a meeting with Podemos Asturies “to which you were invited and to which you finally conveyed that you would not attend.”
