Madrid (EFE) Náquera (Valencia) after agreeing with the popular.
It is the first time that the national headquarters of the PP, specifically the party logo, will be dyed with the rainbow of the gay, lesbian, transsexual, bisexual and “queer” collective in a symbolic act that La Sexta has advanced and sources confirm to Efe of the game this Tuesday.
In full territorial negotiation and on the occasion of International LGBT Pride Day, the popular ones distance themselves from Vox, which on a canvas in Madrid, which the Electoral Board has ordered to remove, called for throwing away this flag and which rejects the rainbow banner in public buildings.
Why did the PP decide to illuminate its headquarters with LGTBI colors?
The decision comes after the controversy in Náquera (Valencia), where Vox and PP agreed to remove LGTBI flags from official buildings and replace rallies against male violence with acts of “no to violence” or condemnation of “all violence”.
The national leadership of the PP has already expressed its rejection of this agreement in the mouth of the campaign spokesman, Borja Sémper, and now it chooses to display the rainbow on its own façade.
During the negotiation with Vox, the PP has stressed that it will not renounce its principles to come to power and this Tuesday Alberto Núñez Feijóo reiterated it in the Valencian Community, where Carlos Mazón has agreed to a coalition government with the party of Santiago Abascal.
The presence of the LGTBI flag in the institutions governed by the PP is diverse. It does not shine in the Madrid City Council, which will have the rainbow in the form of lighting at its headquarters, and neither in Toledo, but it does waver in cities governed alone such as Valencia or Logroño.
