Granada (EFE).- The Investigating Court 5 of Granada, in charge of investigating the kidnapping of a Maracena councilwoman, has agreed to open a separate piece to investigate the alleged participation in these events of the former mayor of this town in Granada, Berta Linares ( PSOE), and the former Town Planning Councilor Antonio García Leiva.
The magistrate complies with the decision of the Superior Court of Justice of Andalusia (TSJA), which urged him to continue the essential investigative procedures regarding the Andalusian parliamentarian and registered Noel López, also a former mayor of the town and temporarily separated as Secretary of Organization of the Andalusian PSOE.
In an order, which the TSJA has reported on Tuesday, the judge agrees to the statement as investigated by former councilor Berta Linares and former Town Planning councilor, Antonio García Leiva, as alleged inducers of the illegal detention of the former councilor of Maracena, Vanessa Romero, by the then boyfriend of the mayoress, Pedro Gómez, who remains in prison.
