Palencia (EFE).- Renault Spain closed the 2022 financial year with a turnover of 6,093 million euros, with a net result after taxes of 73 million, and a production of 256,864 vehicles, 13% more than in 2021, of that 90% were exported.
The Ordinary General Shareholders’ Meeting of Renault España SA, chaired by the Chairman of the Board of Directors, Josep María Recasens, approved the results for the 2022 financial year on Tuesday.
According to the data provided in a press release, the turnover obtained by Renault in Spain in 2022 was 6,093 million euros with a net result, after taxes, of 73 million euros.
In 2022, the Renault factories in Spain became the group’s Hybridization Pole with the Renault Strategic Plan and manufactured 256,864 vehicles, -13% more than the previous year-, of which 90% were destined for export.
From the Palencia factory, -where the first vehicle of the Renault Industrial Plan, the Renault Austral, began to be manufactured and the production of the Renault Megane was maintained-, 94,113 units came out (22%, more than in 2021), with a export level of 85%.
From the Valladolid Bodywork Assembly factory, where the Captur is manufactured, 162,751 vehicles left (8% more than in 2021), and 93% of production was destined for export.
As for the mechanics, the total production of the Valladolid Engine factory has been 896,522 of which 73% have been exported, while the Seville Gearbox factory has produced 371,538 gearboxes with an export of 82%
On the other hand, it has been confirmed that the Renault brand was the one that grew the most in Spain in hybrid technology, while Dacia was in fourth position in market share.
Thus, in the Spanish market, Renault has registered 64,594 vehicles, of which 20% are electrified, and the Dacia brand sold 37,800 passenger cars, 2.7% more than in 2021. EFE
