Madrid, June 27 (EFE).- The PNV spokesman in Congress, Aitor Esteban, has reproached the Socialists for not facilitating PP governments in some territories to separate Vox: “I do not understand the stubbornness of the PSOE,” he said warning that the two big parties “are playing a dangerous game.”
Aitor Esteban, in statements to the media in Congress, has insisted that the leader of the PP, Alberto Núñez Feijóo, “has crossed a line that other leaders of the European right have not crossed”, but neither -he has said- “has there has been neither a gesture nor will” on the part of the PSOE to try to avoid leaving the extreme right “out of the democratic equation”.
The PNV asks PSOE and PP to reach agreements
Once the impossibility of articulating a progressive majority in territories such as the Valencian Community, Extremadura, Aragon, the Balearic Islands or Murcia has been verified, the Basque spokesman has pointed out, the PSOE should have given way to the PP and then the two should agree on the important issues, such as budgets.
Many times, Esteban has pointed out, the big parties “are playing the electoral fight more than what would be convenient.”
Also regarding the PP-Vox pacts, the leader of the IU Enrique Santiago has assured that those of Santiago Abascal “every time they open their mouths they break basic consensus of democracy”, warning that society must take note of what majorities mean of these two formations.
