In Andalusia, the provinces of Cádiz, Córdoba, Seville and Jaén have an orange level with values between 40 and 42 degrees in points of the Sevillian, Cádiz and Cordovan countryside, in the Guadalquivir valley of Jaén and in Morena and Condado; Aemet points out that the notice will be extended in a time slot between 1:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. peninsular time.
Castilla-La Mancha has activated the orange alert in the provinces of Toledo and Ciudad Real, with the highest incidence in the Tagus and Guadiana valleys, where thermometers will rise to 40 degrees; in the rest of the community there is a yellow warning for values between 34 and 38 degrees.
Extremadura has an orange warning in the province of Badajoz for daytime values of up to 40 degrees, at a time between 1:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m., and for minimums that will reach 22 degrees; Cáceres is on yellow alert for highs between 37/38 degrees.
Intense heat with maximums of 39 degrees in the Community of Madrid
The Community of Madrid will also be affected by the intense heat with maximums that will reach 39 degrees in the south, Las Vegas, the west, the metropolitan area and Henares, while in the mountains it will reach 34 degrees.
The Canary Islands have activated the orange warning on the island of Gran Canaria due to highs of 37 degrees, especially in mid-range areas, while on the coasts it will only affect, locally, the southern and western slopes; In Lanzarote, Fuerteventura, La Gomera and Tenerife there is a yellow warning for values between 34-36 degrees.
In Aragon, Castilla y León, Catalonia and the Valencian Community there is a yellow alert for high temperatures or storms.

Likewise, it warns that with the orange alert there is a significant risk in unusual meteorological phenomena and with a certain degree of danger for usual activities.
