Madrid, June 22 (EFE).- Carlos Mouriño, president of Celta de Vigo, went up on Thursday to the stage of the Auditorium of the National Institute of Physical Education (INEF) to collect on behalf of his club the Gold Plaque of the Royal Order of Sports Merit (ROMD), and expressed that this recognition compensates “a lot for the troubles” of the season.
“Staying in First Division is an important plus. It is an inspiration that we have every year within the difficulties that we know there are. Solved that, these awards greatly compensate for the troubles we have had this season, ”he declared after the award ceremony.
It is very exciting, it makes us feel very proud, not now of this stage but in what has been completed during our 100 years.
