The proposal of the president of CEOE, Antonio Garamendi, has been formally raised by the Internal Regime Commission and has received, among others, the explicit support of the Madrid employers’ association Ceim, the Catalan Foment del Treball and the Valencian CEV, in addition to the vote in favor of Cepyme and ATA, and the sectoral employers’ associations AEB, Unespa, Seopan, CNC and Confemetal, business sources have confirmed to EFE.
The same sources have explained that the intervention of the president of Foment, Josep Sánchez Llibre, who in recent days had expressed his doubts regarding this change in the statutes, ended with a hug for Garamendi and applause from the committee.
