Seville, (EFE).- The dammed water in Andalusia has risen slightly due to the recent rains, with 0.04 percent more, for which it stands at 3,222 hm3 (5 more), which represents 26.91 percent. percent of the total capacity that is in the community.
This figure, compared to that of a year ago, represents 939 hm3 less, so the figure continues to be “alarming”, explained the spokesman for the Andalusian Executive, Ramón Fernández-Pacheco, at a press conference after the Council meeting of government.
Until the last week, despite the rainfall, the reservoirs continued to lower their reserves due to the extreme dryness of the soil, which absorbed rainwater.
Increase in the Guadalquivir
Regarding different basins, in the Guadalquivir hydrographic demarcation there has been an increase of 15 hm3 (0.19% more), so that the reservoirs are at 24.12% of their capacity.
In the Andalusian Mediterranean Basins, the dammed water remains at the same levels as a week ago, with a total of 402 hm3 (34.69% of its total capacity).
The Guadalete-Barbate demarcation continues to decrease in its reserves, in this case by 6 hm3 in a week (0.36% less) and stands at 402 hm3 (24.35% of its capacity).
In the Tinto-Odiel-Piedras-Chanza basin there are currently 481 hm3 of dammed water resources (43.14% of its capacity) after a new drop of 4 hm3. EFE
